Destination is going from one point to another. The journey is the memories created between the two points.
Life's path is filled with journies and destinations. At times the journies are filled with obstacles, forks in the road and times even u turns.
I am so proud of my daughter, Chelsea. Tomorrow her journey with nursing school ends. The journey has been filled with obstacles but she never veered of course. Many times her road was filled with roadblocks and potholes. Diffently a bumpy ride but she never lost sight of her destination.
Today the destination was Bethesda. The journey, however was shopping, laughter, memories, music, and of course Starbucks.
Life likes to give us challenges. Sure enough, before staring our journey this morning, I was diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis. True to the strong person that I am, I just took some drugs and gave the keys to Chelsea thus making the journey even more memorable. I am a bit of a control freak, thus not making the best passenger. To my recollection, I only white knuckled twice.
After tomorrow, Chelsea will begin a new journey and destination. She will be a registered nurse. Destination has not been revealed yet, but when it is I pray the journey will be smooth and not white knuckled and if it is, I know she will just hang on and will enjoy the ride!
